Not Who Dat, but What Dat

Living in Louisiana, I have to say that I wouldn't be at all shocked if Campbell was walking around saying "who dat". After all, it is pretty much the most popular cheer for the Saints. Maybe we'll get to hear some "who dat" in the fall when football season rolls around, but lately, it seems like all we're hearing is "what dat"?

Apparently we've reached a questioning phase because now, 1000 times a day, Campbell will point to something and ask "what dat?" I'm just thankful that, for now, the question of choice isn't "why?" "What dat" is generally easy to answer. Sure, there are times when she points to something that either has a really long name, a name that is difficult to pronounce, or something that I don't even know how to identify (she will point to a really small part of something and ask and I just have no clue- maybe I need to start telling her it's a "thingie" or a "dinglehopper" in those cases).

The funny part about her asking is that I don't really think she's asking to find out new information because a lot of times, she already knows what the answer is. I am actually starting to think that she's quizzing us. She will ask about 4 questions, hear the answers and then say "Good job, Momma!" or this morning she said, "Great, Daddy!"

While all the questions can grate on the nerves, I have to say that when she throws in some praise for you, it makes it a lot easier to keep answering.

Stuck? Stuck. STUCK!

Campbell was "helping" me with the laundry this morning. Zach called me into the other room for a few seconds and when we came back, this was what we found. (And yes, we decided to record it instead of helping her.)
